Sunflower Mini Sessions {Alpharetta Photographer}

Each year we have gotten a lot of requests for sunflower pictures so we thought a day of summer minis would make up for the spring sessions that we had to cancel due to the current health environment. We are extremely excited to offer these fun mini sessions at Hunter’s Tree Farm in Milton, GA. Their fields offer several different varieties of gorgeous sunflowers and we can’t wait to take advantage of the old cars and trucks sprinkled about the property! The venue has made it possible to reserve times where only a handful of photographers and their clients can conduct photo shoots while still having ample space to maintain social distancing guidelines. Surprise! Spring Mini Sessions!

We recently decided to offer a spring mini session date this year! YAY!!! It has been so highly requested over the past few seasons, how could we not lol! That said, due to our extremely heavy shooting schedule we can only offer one day of appointments! The 3 fall mini dates filled up quickly so we anticipate these going just as fast. Should you go to sign up and find that all of the slots have filled, please send us an email because we will start a wait list. Should an opening become available we will notify everyone in the order that they reached out to us in.

Mister Barrett in Piedmont

Lindsey and I are deep in the heart of shooting and editing! This fall season has been crazy busy but we have loved sharing the season with you all! I had to stop and share this sweet, sweet Levin family with you all. I had the pleasure of meeting this adorable fam back when little Barrett was just a few days old. Take a look down memory lane and see how much Barrett has grown in 8 short months! Gosh he is a cutie! Fall Family Fun ! {Canton, GA Photographer}

We have been busy bees shooting and editing fall photos! It’s been a wonderful season so far and we want to thank everyone who has returned to us for all of their photography needs year after year as well as all the new families that we have met through referrals or good old google! So holy cow you guys!!! The images from the session I’m about share seriously melt my heart! This session has been a few years in the making but I finally got Lynsi, Ben and their gorgeous model like children Mason and Sydney in front of my camera! These guys came to play and totally knocked it out of the park! Each picture is sweeter and sweeter than the one before it. I honestly could have posted all of them but it totally would have pulled down the website lol! So enjoy this sampling of the adorable Williams family!

The Seals family left Texas just a few months ago and are now Georgia Peaches! I am so glad they found us because is this family not adorbs?! Mr. Luke! {Cumming GA, Fall Photo Session}

I had so much fun shooting this last fall photo session! Christine and I met years and years ago while working a Christmas time wedding. She was on hair and I was on makeup. There we were, two loud mouth New Yorkers cracking jokes and making the bridal party laugh as if we knew each other for years. We were both dressed in all black, had long dark hair and had both moved from Long Island to the south. Needless to say, we stood out in the crowd amongst all the sweet soft southern accents that surrounded us. I remember everyone being pretty surprised to learn that we had never met before lol! Although we went on to do many weddings together over the years that followed, we have also forged a personal friendship that I truly cherish. She is one of the most positive, light hearted and silliest people you could ever meet! She is always smiling despite any hardship or rough road that she has encountered and somehow always has a ridiculous joke or picture to send at random! She is one tough cookie and a fellow kick ass entrepreneur! That said, I know that if I asked her what she is most proud of that her answer would be being Mr. Luke’s mommy!

It’s always beautiful to watch your friends grow in life and become parents. Little Luke is and always has been, such a special child and let me tell ya he loves his momma! And just like his mommy, Luke is super silly and cracks me up! He is 100% boy and LOVES all things cars! I’ve been taking his pictures since he was born and I’m always in awe at how much the camera loves him! I was a little afraid that we would never top the sessions we did with antique trains and at an old school gas station, but I’m thinking these most recent ones at the skate park may give those a run for their money!

Alright you guys, this one is going to be a little different. This one is going to be double everything. Double cuteness, sweetness, love, and TWO baby girls. Not twins but best friends!!! Brandon and Taylor are the proud parents of Jones Haven (JoJo) and Jake and Callie are sweet Emery James’ Mommy and Daddy! The special thing here is all four parents went to Lassiter High School together and have been best friends ever since. How amazing is it to be pregnant with your bestie?! The cravings, aches and pains, fun milestones…they got to share it all! Now their sweet girls get to grow up together! How fun!! Ok, I’ll stop talking because these girls are just beautiful and I can’t wait for you to see!!! Little Miss JoJo is up first and don’t stop scrolling because Emery is right after her!!! Enjoy!! 🙂

We say it all of the time, we LOVE referrals! Send us your people! Next to hanging our images in your home, it is one of the biggest compliments that you can give us! I was recently sent an amazing (and stunning) new family from a client that I actually met back in my days as a makeup artist. Angelica is an absolute blast so I had a pretty good feeling that the Perez family was going to be just as much fun! Especially when I heard what momma Maria’s idea was for the session! When Maria was a little girl, her mother dressed her up as a princess and hired a photographer to photograph her with her prince of a brother. Both her brother and the resulting images are extremely near & dear to her heart. Now that she has a son and daughter of her own, she wanted to capture a similar memory for them to share. If you know me, you know I get carried away easily lol! I can’t tell you how excited I get when I meet people who are like minded! Maria new exactly where she wanted to shoot, nailed the family’s outfits and it was sheer fairytale perfection! So without further ado, I present to you the Oscars (Sr. & Jr.), Maria and little princess Airam (Maria spelled backwards!!! Love it)!

Daddy’s birthday girls! { Family Portraits, Atlanta }

I’m not going to lie guys, I do a little happy dance every time I get a new session request and learn it’s a referral! Birds of a feather flock together, so I always know it’s going to be an amazing time! Referrals are also one of the biggest compliments we can receive! They not only help us grow our business so we can continue doing what we love, but they reinforce that you enjoyed your experience and images so much that you are willing to inflict us on your friends : )! So thank you for that! We love getting to know you even more through the extension of your tribe just as much as we enjoy learning about and meeting new people!

This leads me to the fabulous Holland family who were referred to me by two awesome families. From our emails setting everything up, I could already tell it was going to be a great session so I was pretty pumped. We decided to shoot at Piedmont Park to document their little family and little Charlotte’s recent 1st birthday! And just like their friend’s families, these 3 are absolutely adorable together! Since Beth and Paul were heading out on a date afterwards to celebrate Beth’s bday, I decided to wrap up the session with those lovebirds alone. My little sidekick Charlotte was such a good girl while patiently eating her snack next to me! She must have known mommy and daddy were possibly stealing the show lol! When you see her sweet cherub face you will know why that was a hard thing to do!

All Heart { Marietta Newborn-ish Photography}

I’m so excited to share these images from my new little friend Declan’s session! I met his parents and big bro during their fun family maternity session! You may remember seeing them on the blog. We totally risked the weather and won! BOOM! But back to this amazing little man though…Declan! First of all, is that not the coolest name? Ok so, for me, this was a harder blog to write than I expected, which is why it’s being posted so late. I had all these ideas and words floating around my head all day about what I wanted to say. He has such an amazing and inspiring story so I wanted to relay it correctly. I just keep coming back to his name! It’s such a strong, distinctive name! Perfect for this little soldier, I’ll tell you what! I just remember watching the updates on his mom’s social media after his birth with the hashtag -#Declanstrong #Heartwarrior. There were others but these 2… especially after finally meeting him, they now stand out to me the most. You see, in the first week of Declan’s life this little fighter had multiple surgeries, including an open heart surgery, and fought like a champ! He overcame every benchmark the doctors set for him. I would actually describe this whole family as having nothing but heart! Heart for life, family….heart for each other and of course this newest member to the Paul family. Baby DP though…he is something else! I still watch for new pictures to be posted lol! I love seeing his chubby expressive face and that thick wild hair! Wait until you see his hair!!! It’s everything!!!! He is pure bliss you guys! I absolutely can not wait to watch him grow! The world better make way for this guy! #Declanstrong #Heartwarrior
