What happens when two close friends (both photography enthusiasts in their own right) sit around day dreaming about finally taking the leap and officially going into business? Coco Alley Photography happens, baby, thats what! We specialize in lifestyle photography which to us, is basically a combination of traditional portrait photography slammed together with a documentary flavor and style. We aren’t one for labels, but we’re sure you get the idea. Everyone has a unique story and that is where our love for this type of raw and candid imagery comes from. With each session we are inspired to help bring out and capture your most authentic self so we can tell your “in the moment” story through photographs. You could say that our goal is to freeze your memories in an artistic and creative way resulting in moving and emotional images that will hopefully create a feeling of nostalgia when you look back on them. If we can do that, then we have accomplished everything we set out to do all while meeting amazing people in the process.

We are both super high energy, not scared to chase a rambunctious toddler around until we get the “money shot” and are known to bring the shyest person out of their shell! We shoot just about every type of milestone and life event (both big and small). Sessions don’t have to be booked just for someone’s birthday party or life-changing moment though by the way (although we love a good party)! Some of our most popular sessions may be maternity, first birthday and family sessions, but we literally shoot all types of fun stuff! We are always down for capturing a proposal, pregnancy announcement or even just a play date or family trip to the lake. They say pictures are worth a thousand words but have you ever heard someone say I have too many pictures of my family? Ummm…nope! Just the opposite actually, people generally regret the lack of pictures. We try to find the perfect balance between being a fly on the wall and directing parts of the session. In the end, the experience typically results in a gorgeous gallery with a variety of touching, mostly spontaneous moments and a few, natural “look over here”, images perfect for a picture frame or to hang on your wall!
