I met Laura Clemons, the owner/Doctor of Physical Therapy, of Poise Therapy after she purchased one of our Black Friday gift certificates which they later used for family portraits. I was so excited to learn during her session that she too was a small business owner! A few weeks later we discussed her need for updated headshots as well as promotional photos for her website/marketing pieces and the date was set! Laura promotes wellness and healing through strengthening, balancing, and educating the mind and body by providing a caring and positive experience through Pilates based physical therapy. This is a highly effective strategy that utilizes the principles of Pilates combined with therapeutic treatment to heal the body, reduce pain, and restore function. The use of Pilates equipment allows the muscles and joints to move smoothly and continuously throughout their full range of motion, reaching maximal potential and working in diagonals verse single planes of movement. Laura is also contracted with and provides PT for Stacey Edwards and her non-profit organization, Special Equestrians of Georgia (SEG). SEG offers Hippotherapy (PT/OT performed on the horse) and therapeutic horseback riding to children and adults with special needs.
