They Don’t Stay Little Forever | Roswell, GA Family Photographer
As I sit here and soak in all the feels of my littles starting school this week, it’s a brutal reminder of how fast the years go by. I tell people time seems to go by a lot faster ever since I became a parent. It made me want to share one of my favorite sessions from this summer. Callie and Jake were celebrating this beautiful girl turning ONE! I met them shortly after Emery was born (check out their newborn session here) and am thankful they have allowed me to capture those precious moments because as they too have realized this past year, time doesn’t stand still. It just doesn’t care how badly we want our babies to stay babies forever. As my son says, “mommy, I can’t stay little. I have to grow up.” Very true my sweet boy, very true! So…it’s the least I can do to help people like Callie and Jake capture their sweet girl and her adorable personality along the way. Happy Birthday Emery James!

C + H | ENGAGED! {Cumming, GA photographer}
Happy Summer!!!! Not sure about you guys but these two Coco Alley mommas are running around a bit crazy right now!! Between spending time with you guys and having our littles littles home for the summer, well…forgive us! We know we have been a bit MIA from sharing with you guys!! We just had to stop for a second and share this one!
This girl right here you guys…I can’t even begin to describe my excitement and joy for her. I met Hannah when she was maybe 13 years old on the softball fields of Alpharetta. My hubby and her dad played together on the Police Department’s team. Flash forward a few years when Hannah started babysitting for us when our daughter was about 1 year old. Lyla is now just shy of 7 and she’s still watching our kids weekly! Like many of you mamas and daddies out there, you know when you trust someone so much to care for your kids and know how good it feels to realize how much they genuinely loves them. It’s a pretty big deal! So when she first told me that she knew she wanted to marry this guy (whom now I know is the awesome Corwin) I selfishly yelled inside. Our girl will be his girl…she won’t want to babysit anymore! The kids can’t wait to see Hannah get married and are very much looking forward to dancing at her wedding. She is part of our family. I’m ecstatic for her and so thankful she allowed me to capture a few moments of their engagement. Funny side note….They thought they were going to be “awkward” at their session but holy smokes you guys….they were anything but! Look at the sweetness!!!

Welcome to the World, Baby Mila | Atlanta Newborn Photographer
Mila’s story….it’s a true example of things don’t always go as planned in life and especially as parents! Below you will see my adventure with the Ochoas’ unfold from before Mila, waiting the painful, several hours to meet her and finally in her amazingly beautiful nursery. My journey with this sweet girl’s parents started at Piedmont Park for a maternity session. This was after not one cancellation, not after two… but we had to reschedule FOUR times due to this wonderful rainy Georgia weather! This wasn’t the first nor last change of plans with my new friends, Kim and Manny. In the early morning of March 29 I got a text from Kim saying her water broke and she was heading to the hospital. I literally froze. Two reasons- I was crazy excited to document their baby girl’s birth but Kim’s due date wasn’t until April 14, I was not expecting this! We kept in touch throughout the day and I kept an eye on the handiest little app, Waze, and decided to head down at 2:30 as traffic was building up and the hospital was downtown (good ole ATL traffic). Kim was hanging in there but her labor was slowing down. I hung out with them until about 7:00 and headed home fully expecting to get the call in the middle of the night. At 2:00 AM Manny texted me and gave me the news that Kim was heading in for a c-section. Selfishly, I was super bummed! But the back up plan was now a Fresh 48, so a couple days later I headed back down to finally meet this sweet girl! At the end of the day, everything worked out wonderfully and we have one beautiful baby girl and a happy Mommy & Daddy. The pictures share just that! I love I was able to document this journey for the Ochoa family!

Surprise! Spring Mini Sessions!

We recently decided to offer a spring mini session date this year! YAY!!! It has been so highly requested over the past few seasons, how could we not lol! That said, due to our extremely heavy shooting schedule we can only offer one day of appointments! The 3 fall mini dates filled up quickly so we anticipate these going just as fast. Should you go to sign up and find that all of the slots have filled, please send us an email because we will start a wait list. Should an opening become available we will notify everyone in the order that they reached out to us in.

Lindsey & Stephanie
Welcome to the World Vivianne!
When Stephanie and I set out on our dream to start our business together, we quickly learned that we both had one important goal in mind. We both wanted to capture the lives of our clients while keeping the heart & emotion of their personal story in the forefront of every image. Over time, this has allowed for so many wonderful and unique relationships and connections to develop with our clients as our business has grown. Honestly, they are really more like friendships founded on trust, mutual creativity and a willingness to share our lives with one another. Personally, I’ve recently come to realize just how cool it is, that by simply checking in and reading the blog from time to time, many of you have come to know one another and share in each other’s life moments with out even having met! How amazing is that? I mention this because the sense of community that we have witnessed every time one of our clients/readers either checks in with us to ask about our friend Allison, and/or reference following her blog about her ongoing effort to process the loss of her husband this past year, it is so heart warming to encounter for us. Since so many have asked recently, and because I have Allison’s blessing… I’m proud to share this update with all of you!
On January 12th, 2018…. shortly after 7pm , following 7 minutes of pushing …. Allie delivered a beautiful 7lbs ,7oz perfect baby girl! Something tells me the number 7 will be very special to little Miss Vivianne Marie 😉! She is Allison and Dane’s (who passed a little over 7 months ago) 3rd child together and she is simply spectacular! Had I not already had the goosebumps watching my extremely strong friend deliver this new little life without an epidural while flanked by her parents and sister cheering her on via FaceTime, I would have certainly gotten the chills when the song Sweet Child of Mine started playing on Pandora just as baby Vivi entered the world! The entire event was an emotional testament to the human spirit and the strength of a woman, who frankly I’m in awe of, and her will to preserver and be strong no matter what!
When I think back on watching Allison’s mom Cynthia stand by her side throughout every contraction and every push…then later cutting the umbilical cord that attached her daughter and granddaughter together, I know that they are beautiful moments I will never forget. The mommy and child bond runs deep and I can tell you that Vivi was born surrounded by love, excitement and well wishes. I know Dane must have been smiling down with the same familiar look of pride that I had the chance to witness every time he held Ava and Oliver.
Photography had brought Allison into my world initially, but going through the beautiful highs and lows of real life together in these last few years …. well that has given me a friendship I deeply cherish. There would have been no other place I would have rather been than watching the latest Dickie baby being born!
If you would like to continue to follow Allison’s healing and keep up with her and her sweet children, follow this link to her blog!

Chaz + Ashley are Engaged! | Cator Woolford Gardens at the Frazer Center, Atlanta Georgia
I kicked off the new year with a beautiful couple excited as ever to get married in the fall. Ashley and I met when I moved to Georgia and found my new home gym at Alpharetta Gymnastics Academy. Her and I competed side by side and now I am in my second year of coaching along side of her. When she asked me to take their engagement photos her and I jumped into planning. Ashley and her fiancé live in downtown, Atlanta so this was going to be a nice change of scenery for me. Ashley suggested Cator Woolford Gardens at the Frazer Center and I immediately fell in love. It is beautiful you guys!! Just take a look. I gotta give these two credit, it was 30 degrees when we took these photos but you would never know it!!

Happy New Year!
Happy New Year everyone! I can’t believe it’s already 2018! Thank you for such a wonderful and creative 2017! I know I speak for both of us when I say that Stephanie and I are really looking forward to seeing what this year has in store for all of you and documenting it along the way!
There were so many amazing images from dozens of fall sessions that never made the blog (enter sad face here)! Stephanie and I were both super focused on delivering everyone’s photos in time for the holidays that it was hard to switch gears and blog. But here we are with the first blog of the new year woot, woot! It seemed only fitting to feature pictures from this gorgeous couple’s shoot which captured their love as they started their journey as a married couple! There is so much that I could say about Angelica and Corey but as I’m very anxious to show you their images I’m going to try to keep it short lol!
I’m so grateful that on the day of our adventure the lighting and temperate was amazeballs! Considering it poured sheets of rain for what seemed like their entire wedding day, they totally deserved it! I mean a total down pour! Remarkably, despite the rain, their focus never left each other or the joy they felt to finally be able to tie the knot in an intimate ceremony in front of their loved ones. We decided to go back to the scene of the crime and just see where the session took us! It was pure newlyweded bliss! Congratulations again Angelica and Corey! Your love is as beautiful as the two of you!

Mister Barrett in Piedmont
Lindsey and I are deep in the heart of shooting and editing! This fall season has been crazy busy but we have loved sharing the season with you all! I had to stop and share this sweet, sweet Levin family with you all. I had the pleasure of meeting this adorable fam back when little Barrett was just a few days old. Take a look down memory lane and see how much Barrett has grown in 8 short months! Gosh he is a cutie! The backdrop was perfection and we had so much fun walking around Piedmont Park capturing some memories! Thanks Shannen and Zac for allowing me to watch your little man grow! 🙂

Fall Family Fun ! {Canton, GA Photographer}
We have been busy bees shooting and editing fall photos! It’s been a wonderful season so far and we want to thank everyone who has returned to us for all of their photography needs year after year as well as all the new families that we have met through referrals or good old google! We love what we do and feel incredibly lucky to have such amazing clients! We are filled with gratitude so thank you! We are looking forward to all of the upcoming fall sessions!
So holy cow you guys!!! The images from the session I’m about share seriously melt my heart! This session has been a few years in the making but I finally got Lynsi, Ben and their gorgeous model like children Mason and Sydney in front of my camera! These guys came to play and totally knocked it out of the park! Each picture is sweeter and sweeter than the one before it. I honestly could have posted all of them but it totally would have pulled down the website lol! So enjoy this sampling of the adorable Williams family!
Lynsi, Ben, Mason and Sydney: your giggles and love were infectious, I loved shooting you and fully intend on stalking you next year so we can do it again 🙂
